Mitchell’s Fine Jewelry, Turquoise, and Silver is located in Uptown Ruidoso, New Mexico. The jewelry store is nestled in the heart of Ruidoso’s downtown shopping district. The store is owned and operated by Nancy Mitchell. Nancy moved to Ruidoso from New Jersey in 1978 with her family. It wasn’t until 1993 that she opened and became the sole proprietor of Mitchell’s Jewelry store located at 2622 Sudderth Drive. Like everything else Nancy does in her life she is totally devoted to providing the absolute best for all her customers. The mission of Mitchell’s Jewelry is to help promote and maintain the integrity of the Native American artists and their art. This art of course is in the form of beautiful, authentic Native American jewelry.
At Mitchell’s Jewelry you will find one of the largest selections of jewelry to meet anyone’s budget. Woven throughout the store you will find pieces made of all natural stones set in sterling silver. Just a few of the stones you will find in the pieces showcased at Mitchell’s are turquoise, coral, shells and just about any gemstone you can imagine. Nancy has made it a practice to spotlight some of the most well known Native American artist in her store. Just a few of these talented people include: Daniel Coriz, Jonathan Nez, Priscilla Apache, Leonard Nez, Paul Arviso, Tommy Singer, Jack Tom, and Rodney Coriz. Not only do you get to experience firsthand the talent of the artist through the jewelry they create but you also get to know a bit about them personally.
